1. Acceptance of Agreement
Welcome to Perfect Aptitude ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or registering for an account within the Perfect Aptitude Academic Ecosystem, Neural Portal, or related mobile/web applications (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Agreement"). If you are registering on behalf of an educational institution, school, academy, or enterprise ("Institution"), you represent and warrant that you possess the full legal authority to bind such Institution to this Agreement.
2. Institutional Hierarchy & Role-Based Access
The Platform operates on a strict multi-tiered permission hierarchy consisting of four principal roles: Super Admin, Institution Admin, Teacher, and Student.
- Institution Admins maintain absolute governance over their institution's faculty rosters, student enrollments, classroom sessions, and AI character/token budgets.
- Teachers are authorized to initiate live interactive sessions, trigger real-time AI translation, upload textbooks for OCR/PDF book conversion, and generate multimodal audio summaries.
- Students are granted private, read/listen-only access to assigned classroom summaries, interactive speech assessments, and multilingual learning tools within their enrolled institution.
Account sharing across multiple human users is prohibited. All credentials must remain strictly confidential and secured with strong alphanumeric passphrases.
3. AI & Multimodal Translation Governance
Perfect Aptitude integrates advanced artificial intelligence engines, including Google Cloud Translation, Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT-4o, and AWS Polly, to facilitate real-time classroom communication across languages. By utilizing our AI-driven features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- No Public Model Training: Your private classroom transcripts, uploaded PDF textbooks, voice samples, and generated summaries are strictly confidential. Perfect Aptitude enforces enterprise contractual agreements ensuring that third-party AI sub-processors do not retain or utilize your institutional data to train public foundational models.
- AI Output Verification: While our neural translation and speech synthesis pipelines operate at state-of-the-art accuracy, automated translations and optical character recognition (OCR) outputs should be reviewed by qualified academic personnel for critical examination or grading contexts.
4. Token Consumption & Institutional Budgets
Usage of real-time Text-to-Speech (TTS), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), and Neural Translation is tracked via institutional character and token metrics governed by the TranslationGovernanceService.
Each Institution is allocated a contractual or subscription-based usage tier. If an Institution exhausts its monthly allocation, high-intensity operations (such as bulk textbook OCR conversion or real-time speech synthesis) may be temporarily throttled or routed to local fallback engines until the budget is renewed or adjusted by the Institution Administrator.
5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree not to misuse the Perfect Aptitude Platform. Specifically, you shall not:
- Attempt to probe, bypass, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the WebSocket communication channels, AI prompt boundaries, or multi-tenant database isolation.
- Upload copyrighted textbooks or learning materials without possessing the requisite licensing, fair use privileges, or ownership rights.
- Deploy automated scrapers, bots, or script injectors against the Neural Portal endpoints or authentication gateways.
- Transmit defamatory, harassing, unlawful, or discriminatory content within classroom sessions, chat channels, or audio recordings.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All core platform architecture, software source code, visual UI/UX systems, and proprietary algorithms remain the sole intellectual property of Perfect Aptitude Inc. Conversely, all academic content, lecture notes, textbook PDFs, and classroom discussions uploaded or created by an Institution remain the exclusive property of that Institution and its respective educators.
7. Privacy & Data Isolation
Our handling of personally identifiable information (PII) and student educational records is detailed in our Privacy Policy. We strictly comply with educational privacy mandates including FERPA (USA) and GDPR (EU), guaranteeing full logical database separation between institutions.
8. Service Availability & SLAs
We strive for 99.9% platform uptime across all global regions. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated via the portal topbar whenever feasible. Perfect Aptitude maintains redundancy across multiple cloud infrastructure providers to ensure continuous live classroom connectivity.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PERFECT APTITUDE INC. OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
